Using jigsaw, scroll saw, and hand saw to cut them up, earlier encaustic prints and painted pieces mounted on cradled wood panels become raw material for new constructions. The imagery and patterning is freed to form new relationships, new meanings in assemblage intuitively arranged and held with glue, nails, and screws.
