NEW WORK 2026
My current work is multi-media including encaustic monotypes mounted on wood, direct prints of found materials, acrylic paint. The pieces exist outside of a frame, allowing the imagery to breathe and relate directly to the wall. A piece with multiple parts can be configured in more than one way. Imagery is formed by cutting with a scroll saw and sometimes gluing. Pieces hang by means of nails tapped through predrilled holes.
The work is inspired and informed by natural phenomena, often momentary occurrences formed by light, wind, happenstance and the fact of being perceived.
