BRIEF ENCOUNTERS
Brief Encounters is a solo exhibition held at the Shafer Gallery, Hi Desert Artists, Yucca Valley, Ca. September 25- October 12, 2025
The works in BRIEF ENCOUNTERS are multi media - including encaustic monotype, paint, and collage on plywood bases. They sit directly on the wall, usually by means of nails tapped through pre-drilled holes.
Several of the works in this exhibit are made up of multiple independent parts. Therefore, many different configurations are possible, so sizes are approximate. A collector acquiring one of these works becomes a part of the creative process, as a new configuration can be chosen to please the person and to fit the space.
On one long wall, six works were installed as one flowing panorama.
